My aim is to make objects that are practical and yet aesthetically pleasing using wood that is either sourced directly by me from hedgerows, prunings etc or made of other peoples castoffs and recycled furniture. I do also make things that are purely decorative (at least to me) My personal favourites are those pieces that have something of the original natural element left in such as natural holes, bark etc. I rarely make two things alike as the wood tends to dictate the look of my work it.
