About Us

The inspiration behind the crafts directory came from my personal experiences in trying to promote my own craft business (Shpangle Jewellery). After spending a number of years adding my website to numerous arts and crafts directories, it became apparent that the only reason I was adding my website to these directories was to gain links back to my website. It also became noticeable how many fellow crafters felt passionate about supporting charities as well as their crafts.
 

The crafts directory evolved to provide a means to provide people who are passionate about arts and crafts and supporting charities, a way of being able to promote their businesses or hobbies by giving to their favourite charities.

Charities are always looking for ways to raise money and those who are passionate about their crafts are always looking for ways to tell people about work or hobbies and promote themselves. The Crafts directory aims to help promote arts and crafts businesses and hobbyists by listing their site in the directory and all is asked in return is for them to contribute to their chosen charity.

If you feel passionate about your craft and want to promote your business, please add your details to the crafts directory. It is a simple process and you get the benefit of knowing that your business is being promoted and you are in turn supporting your favourite charity.
