Terms of Submissions

Thank you for your interest in a listing within the Craftsforcharity.co.uk Arts and Crafts Directory.

The payment for a listing in the Crafts directory is a small donation to charity. Beacuse this donation is made directly to your chosen charity, it is non-refundable. We will work with you as far as possible to ensure that your listing is successful, however failure to follow these guidelines may result in your link being declined.

Craftsforcharity.co.uk will retain all control over the wording of the listing and placement within the directory. Carftsforcharity.co.uk also reserves the right to move the listing to another category or sub-category and/or change elements of the listing at any time.
 

Types of Sites Accepted

1) Your site must be directly related to handmade Arts and Crafts.

2) All sites must be in English.

3) We will accept sites hosted on larger sites such as Etsy, Misi or Folksy and craft blogs.

4) Sites that appear to be only made for Advertising and offer no apparent value to the visitor will not be accepted.

5) No sites containing adult content, hurtful language, or anything else not child-friendly will be accepted.
 

Submission Guidelines

1) Please submit the URL of your domain or of the page where the content matches that of the category being submitted to.

2) You may submit separate listings for different pages of your website provided they are submitted to separate categories. (Pages submitted must be different).

3) You may submit separate listings for each website, blog or online shop like Etsy.

4) For multiple listings please make the title and description fields unique for each listing. Each listing must also be accompanied by a separate donation to charity.

5) Site titles will become your link text within the directory. Since sites are listed in the order in which they were received (newest first), link text has no impact on listing order and should be used to describe your site. Titles should include your site name, company name, or other keywords that describe your site.

6) Do not capitalize every word in your description. Write a description that is informational and not merely a list of keywords. Site titles and descriptions that are keyword stuffed will not be accepted.

Reciprocal links are greatly appreciated, but are not required. If you do opt to place a link for craftsforcharity.co.uk on your website or blog, please use the following URL, link text and description.
